Jason (0s):
I like focusing on three different aspects of what you can actually do to change your health, measure your health. The first one is cellular charge. All of our cells have a specific charge to them. If you add up all the voltage in all of your cells combined, you have like 2 trillion volts running through your body and any given time, which is an extreme amount of energy, but if you took 2 trillion volts and touched somebody, they would like evaporate. You know, it's, it's enormous, enormous, enormous amount of energy. So when your cellular charge is diminished, when you don't have enough energy in your cells, energy can't move the right way. You end up experiencing what's called a dis-ease of energy, what we call disease 'cause that's really what disease is.
Jason (44s):
It's an incoherent flow of energy. So you gotta find a way to Increase your Cellular Charge. The second thing that I like to look at is your, This
Brian (54s):
Week I interviewed author, speaker, and founder of Unified Jason Chika. Jason has dedicated his life to UNIFYING and awakening humanity to a higher truth. We discussed Jason's three pillars to optimize our health, along with The power of light therapy to heal Jason's routine for an optimal day, increasing your cellular charge and his one tip to get your body back to what it once was. Really enjoyed my interview Jason. I know you will too. Thanks so much for listening and enjoy the show. Alright. Welcome to the Get Lean, Eat Clean podcast. My name is Brian Gryn and I have Jason Sheron. Welcome to the show. Thank you
Jason (1m 30s):
Very much, Brian. I'm excited for today.
Brian (1m 32s):
Yeah, we got this together sort of quick and glad to have you on. I've been following you for a while actually, and so I'm, it's, you know, blessed to have you on, so
Jason (1m 41s):
Thank you. Thank you. It's, it's an honor.
Brian (1m 43s):
And I know a little bit about you, but maybe let the audience know, you know, your background. I know now you're in health and wellness and you have wellness centers all over the, the world, perhaps maybe. How did, what sort of led you down this path?
Jason (1m 54s):
So, just a, a little background. I come from a business background, real estate. That's, that's our family business. And it's great and the money's great, But it wasn't very fulfilling. So there's only so much you can buy and sell Whole Foods and build Costcos and things like that. And I said I wanted to do something a little bit more gratifying where I was able to give back and just make this world a healthier place. It really stems from my father. So he started the family business with his brother, but on the side, his hobby was just health, you know, alternative health. He wasn't a doctor in any way, but he was very educated and knowledgeable on many topics, friends at a lot of really good doctors. So that kind of brought me into that world and for me, I wanted to kind of uplevel his legacy of what he was doing as a hobby and bring it to the next level.
Jason (2m 40s):
So that's how we started Unified Healing. Now it's with the light system technology and it's just about helping people. Yeah,
Brian (2m 46s):
That's, it's great to hear. And when did you start unified healing? And I mean, now you're all over. So what year was that and, and how did that sort of come about?
Jason (2m 55s):
2022. So very recently. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. And the way that it came about, again, it was, it was all inspired from what I just shared, but few interviews that I did and they blew up. They, they went very, very viral all around the world. A lot of people wanted to step up to be a part of a mission. And I really wanted to just hone in on what that is because I think that's the most important thing here. Where right now we're living in a world and it's changing, but we're still living in a world of this sort of like disempowered reality where everybody thinks, you know, if you're sick, you gotta go to the doctor and take this pill. And, and that's it. And I'm not saying that those things don't work sometimes, but I, I do feel that it's completely, completely out of proportion where the first thing you do is you take an antibiotic.
Jason (3m 43s):
Why would the first thing you do be kill life in your body? Why not make life thrive differently and better in your body to create an environment where disease can't exist in the first place? So I'm not against western medicine. Western medicine saved my life. I just think that we need to completely change the proportion that it's in right now. For example, I had a staph infection. It almost killed me without antibiotics in that case, I wouldn't be here today. Now there are times and places to, to use things like that, but it's not the first thing that we should be going to. And there are other ways of paying attention to your breath, paying attention to the oxygen level in your blood, paying attention to the cellular charge of your cells.
Jason (4m 24s):
'cause that's like the foundation of your being paying attention to the food that you're eating. Doctors are given like a few hours in nutrition. There are 10 years of medical school. So it's really changing the way that we see things to understand that yes, there are amazing technologies out there that we can use And what we definitely should while also focusing on the thing that we can do on our day-to-day to prevent diseases and ailments in the first place. Like eating properly, breathing properly, drinking properly, and so on and so forth.
Brian (4m 54s):
Yeah, totally true. I mean, like you said, there's a time and place for western medicine and usually like if you have something that's acute and you need it to, you know, like you said, a staph infection and you needed to, to take measures like antibiotics and things like that, it, it was great. But there has to be sort of this proactive approach that you should take on a day-to-day basis. And I totally agree. I mean that's really what the podcast is about. So what are some of the main principles we always talk about, like these sort of pillars that individuals are sort of follow And what are, what, what would you say your five, six pillars that you, you like to follow or that you, you know, you helped spread?
Jason (5m 30s):
So I liked there, there are millions of pillars, but I like to keep things simple, right? Not complex. 'cause I don't think it needs to be complex. And I like focusing on three different aspects. And for everybody watching this, I'm sharing this because I want people to walk away with tools, not just some words, but tools of what you can actually do to change your health, measure your health, and then make a change from where you're at when you gauge it. And this really ties hand in hand with all these wellness centers around the world, as you said, 500 centers around the world, 55 countries. And it's all spreading a message of re-empowering and empowering the human being by educating people and then giving them solutions of how do we go about rebalancing these three main pillars.
Jason (6m 13s):
So the first one is cellular charge. Cellular charge is based on not an idea of anything that's woo. It's very scientific and it's very factual. All of our cells have a specific charge to them. As a matter of fact, if you add up, and you probably know this, if you add up all the millivolts, because that's how you measure cellular voltage. If you add up all the voltage in all of your cells combined, you have like 2 trillion volts running through your body at any given time, which is an extreme amount of energy. It just spread out in a way where, you know, we can function. But if you took 2 trillion volts and touched somebody, they would like evaporate.
Jason (6m 53s):
You know, it's, it's enormous, enormous, enormous amount of energy. So the idea over here, and again, based on fact, when your cellular charge is diminished, when you don't have enough energy in your cells, energy can't move the right way. You end up experiencing what's called a dis-ease of energy, what we call disease. Because you don't have the proper energy running. Your body needs energy and electricity. If you don't have that, you're deficient. You're gonna end up having a dise of flow. 'cause that's really what disease is. It's an incoherent flow of energy. So number one, you gotta find a way to Increase your Cellular Charge. And I'll explain how to do that in a moment.
Jason (7m 34s):
But the second thing that I like to look at is your pH, the hydrogen potential of your blood, of your body and your pH as we all know, this is something that's, that's taught probably when we're in like fifth or sixth grade is on the low end. Your acidic on the high end, your alkaline in the middle between 7.2 and 7.4, that's your neutral. That's really where you want to be at. And if you go too low, you get sick. And also if you go too high, you get sick. But the reason why people like alkaline foods and alkaline water is because generally when you're sick, you have a more acidic pH. And when you have an acidic pH, that's an environment where cancer can thrive. So there is no such thing as a cancer patient on this planet that does not have an acidic pH because cancer is an expression of the environment that it's in.
Jason (8m 21s):
And if you have an environment that can host it, it's going to grow, it's going to to express itself. So interestingly enough, cellular charge and pH is the same exact thing expressed in a different way. Meaning cell or pH is derived from the voltage in your cells. A lower voltage equates to an acidic pH. A higher voltage equates to a more neutral, in some cases a more alkaline pH. So if you change one, the other one changes. It's not, when I give three pillars, it's not three different things that you have to do. It's three ways where when you change one all change because they're reflections of each other.
Jason (9m 4s):
So the second one would be pH, and the third one would be oxygen levels in your body that you can measure with those oxymeters on your, on your, they're like oxy pulses, oxy puls, TERs, okay. Which you put on your finger in seconds, it measures the oxygen level in your body. And when you're going below 95, 94, again, that's also gonna reflect a lower pH. It's gonna reflect a lower cellular charge and it's all tied into each other. So what I focus on, what we all focus on the centers, more specifically with this technology called the light system, is we're using light in a specific way amongst other aspects that kind of stack different modalities on each other to increase the cellular charge to ret, neutralize and reoptimize the pH and to increase the oxygen levels in your body.
Jason (9m 55s):
Because even on the oxygen side, there was a doctor, his name is Dr. Otto Warberg, and he proved, he actually won the Nobel Prize for proving that when you deprive a single cell of 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours, that cell becomes cancerous. That means that in oxygen deficient environments, cancer disease can thrive. When you change one, you change all, whether you're focused on cellular charge pH or oxygen level change one, all of them will reflect in the others.
Brian (10m 25s):
Thanks for explaining that. And this sort of led you down the light system, right? And when did you, is that something, was that a partnership you came into or was that something you just started yourself?
Jason (10m 36s):
No, so I, I did not invent it. It was invented in the 1980s, 1990s by this man named Robert Rega. Not a doctor, not a healer in any way. A simple programmer that had a mission, he had a vision. His vision was based off of certain things that he was studying that ended up having different effects after he built it. Like most inventions, somebody invents it for one purpose and then you find 10 or 20 other effects that comes out in it. So he, he created it on the basis of wanting to share certain teachings from, you know, ancient Hindu texts, things like that. A lot of big spiritual teachers out there. He knew that a lot of people aren't gonna sit there and study it because quite frankly, a lot of people are lazy and they're not interested.
Jason (11m 19s):
So what if there was a way to be able to get people to, in a way, like download that information without actually having to put effort into it. So that's why he created this system. It's a system that has specific words and affirmations running on it in specific ways, coupled with light therapy. So now it's also radiating and emanating certain wavelengths, which is just color to help the body heal itself. And from there, there were like 10 other effects that came out of it. But his goal was how do we get people to be more aware of these teachings? Let's create something that will actually restructure the water in their body through specific words and affirmations, which is based on Dr.
Jason (11m 58s):
Masaru Emoto's work and his study on water, right? The water experiment showing how factually and scientifically certain affirmations, certain intentions have the ability to change the molecular structure of water in the body. That's how it started. And it evolved since.
Brian (12m 16s):
Okay. So I didn't realize that there were actually affirmations. I'm, I was looking at the light system. That's cool. Yeah. 'cause maybe I have something, 'cause in the morning I'll do like affirmations, I'll just play 'em on my phone. But I'm also looking into red light.
Jason (12m 29s):
Yeah, so, so you're talking red light, blue light, green light. It's the wavelengths. Everything in between if we're GB of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and to go violet. And the affirmations, when you look at the screen, you're not gonna see them in English because it's encoded in something called the meta matrix. So every letter in the alphabet has assembled that Robert basically coincided it with, now you can transfer it back to English and you'll see all the affirmations. But the way that the proprietary code actually comes is first encoded in what's called the meta matrixx. You can translate it back by clicking the button on a keyboard and it will show you those affirmations. As a matter of fact, you can even put your own intentionality and your own affirmations into it as well.
Jason (13m 13s):
So what that does is it takes the effort and the discipline out of the equation. 'cause me and you have to wake up and say, okay, we wanna, you know, set our affirmations, we gotta do this for a few minutes a day. But in this case it's doing it 24 7 without you even thinking about it. Because it's a system that has a program that does that for you. You program it once, it does exactly what you're looking for.
Brian (13m 36s):
Interesting. And so is this something that you've implemented in your life?
Jason (13m 39s):
It's in my office. It's in my home. I sleep around it many times. My family has one of the 500 wellness centers here in New York now in Port Washington, New York. So this is something that I don't just speak about. I live it and I live it because I've seen what it does. Now. Everything that we've shared so far is just philosophy, right? It's just words and action. But what about the action itself? What is the outcome? And there are studies and all that, but I don't even look at those. I want to see what is the actual outcome of results and testimonies from people of what they're experiencing. And what got me to really jump on this in the first place was my aunt, she had a 13 and a half centimeter cystic fibroid in her uterus.
Jason (14m 22s):
The doctor said, it might be cancer, you gotta do surgery, we don't know what's going on. She slept around this system. Well, in the first case, she was around the system for four hours and it completely went away. And I looked and I said, how is that possible? And the first thing that I went to, 'cause I'm a skeptic at heart, is that's the placebo. I don't know that it actually does something objectively. And then 24 hours, my sister's dog, now we're talking about a dog, not a human, that had, we found a four centimeter tumor in his neck, right around his lymph nodes. So on a small little dog, we put him in the system, he slept there for three nights straight and it was gone. No surgery, no nothing. So at that point it kind of got me to say, okay, this needs to be beyond placebo because it's happening to animals.
Jason (15m 7s):
I can't tell the animal what's about to happen. So his thoughts will, you know, make that happen. There's something going on here. And then it just kept going. And you're talking people anywhere from back pain to eyesight, reversals to hair, growing back to weight loss to diabetes, all these things people are starting to see reversals on. And the most important thing here, and this is where the empowerment comes in, is it's not the technology that's healing you. Your body always tries to heal and reverse those things to bring itself into balance. All the technology is doing through its different aspects and functions and modalities, is creating an environment for your body to synchronize with, which is a coherent environment.
Jason (15m 49s):
So your body has the energy to do what it does best, which is heal itself.
Brian (15m 53s):
Wow, those are amazing stories.
Jason (15m 56s):
It's, it's really, that's like the tip of the tip of the tip of the iceberg. We can go on for days with what people have been seeing.
Brian (16m 3s):
So with your ant, was this something like, you're like, well give this a go? Or was it like, did the lights, did they come to you? Or like how did that sort of come about?
Jason (16m 14s):
No, so, so at the time my family heard about it, they said, you know, go and experience this thing because we have nothing to lose. Again, putting Eastern medicine or non-conventional first and using Western as the last resort. So if we had to do Western, we would've done it. But we tried a bunch of things before going that route. And in this case it not only worked, it worked with flying colors and we started seeing it working on tons and tons of people all around the world.
Brian (16m 41s):
I was actually looking to see if you have a wellness center, so these wellness centers, people just go in there and sit in the light. Is that
Jason (16m 48s):
Yeah, so it, it really depends on the wellness center. Okay. Now, in all of have technologies like that, but unified healing really represents many different types of modalities. It, it's, it's stamp is, or its motto I should say, its mission, is bringing awareness to the top health and wellness technologies around the world that are energy based. So anywhere from red light therapy, cold plunge, infrared saunas, beamer mats, bio chargers, using biol to measure certain things, using the zito programs to measure things before and after. And the light system as well. So it's one of many, but our focus is the light system because of how many or how far and wide it is of set all around the
Brian (17m 31s):
World. Now let's talk about maybe some things people can do. I mean, this light system looks really cool. I I I was just looking at they're not, they're not cheap. If you want 'em in your home looks like it's like 13,000 for that pyramid, which looks pretty cool. Yeah, could put that right in my house. But what other things? I mean, we have the sun, right? I mean the sun is such a, a healing like modality, if you wanna say in itself, we probably don't use it enough, especially in the mid in the Midwest here. 'cause you know, the sun and grounding is, is is powerful as well, right?
Jason (17m 60s):
Yeah. I'll tell you the, the problem with that, the problem is, if you're living in a place like New York, not always can you get something like that. And even if you're living in a place like Florida, if our skies were being sprayed and there are layers of chemicals above us, it's also gonna mitigate the impacts that we can see. The sun is the most important thing in the world, and yet they're telling us it's gonna kill you. It's gonna get, you know, give you this disease and this disease, right? You gotta put on sunscreen. Why would I block myself from the essence of life? Now, I'm not saying if you're, you know, in UV 10 for 12 hours a day, it's not a problem. It is do that
Brian (18m 35s):
You just don't wanna burn. Yeah,
Jason (18m 37s):
Just, just don't block yourself from it either. There's, there's a very big balance over there. Now we're living in a world where people live all over the planet. We used to live much closer to the equator. It was a much healthier world. Now people live in Norway, Alaska, you know, all these places where you can't get that 24 7. And even in places where you can, there's a problem because of certain agendas that are underway right now that we don't need to get into. But our sun is being blocked, our food is being poisoned, our water is being poisoned. So some of the things that I would say right now in the world that we can do is before anything that costs money, you gotta breathe more.
Jason (19m 19s):
You gotta bring more oxygen to your body. Even when you're using something like the light system, when you're going to these unified healing centers, it's not enough to go in leave And you know, go eat McDonald's. You can't do that either. You need to take responsibility for your own health, whether you're using it or not. And that means the food that you're gonna eat if it's coming out of a bag, if it's not growing from this earth one way or another, if it has toxins and chemicals in it, it could be the greatest apple in the world. You're still eating cancer because you're putting things like Roundup in your food. You're putting things like lysate in your food, you have a problem with that. So we need to start finding ways beyond things that cost us money, because that's the world that we live in right now.
Jason (20m 0s):
How can we prevent certain things from happening by promoting a healthier environment for us all? And the answer is through breathing, through getting a proper water filter and taking the garbage out of your water because that's huge through eating proper food that don't have all this garbage in it. If you can grow it yourself, grow it yourself, it saves you money. You're walking barefoot, not on asphalt, but on real grass. Not on grass that's been sprayed with chemicals because that will go through your body as well. So we can learn from the Japanese when they're having issues. They actually have forests in Japan that are used for doctors to prescribe people to go walk in that forest, to rebalance their nervous system because that's what nature does.
Jason (20m 43s):
It's about synchronizing with coherent energy. Once again, coherent energy used to be all around us. It's no longer all around us because of the world and the society that we live in. That's why. And that's where things like the light system and other technologies come in. But the ultimate goal is coming to a point where you never need something like the light system again. Because if we can create an environment and a more natural environment while still being technologically advanced, being advanced means understanding the holistic perspective while being able to communicate across countries with technologies. One day we're gonna get to that point, but right now we have to get out of the garbage that we created for ourselves.
Jason (21m 23s):
So I see this more so when using external technologies more so as a stepping stone to get to the point where we never have to use them again. Not a supplement, not a vitamin, not any form of technology. But we need to acknowledge where we're at, step out of that environment by creating a new one. And then get to the point where we're just empowered human beings that heal ourselves.
Brian (21m 45s):
And I know you go on tour, is this a lot of the topics that you talk about on tour? All of it. All of it. Okay.
Jason (21m 51s):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it's, it's like, for example, the upcoming tour I'm doing is called The Revolution of Healing, right? So it's all about basically teaching people how to go about healing in different ways. How to understand the true difference between health versus disease. Because people made it very complex. The pharmaceutical industry made it very complex and it's not, health is a body with coherent energy. Disease is a body with distorted energy. That's it. So instead of going into all the complexities and terminologies and ailments, we just gotta ask ourselves how do we recreate a coherent, energetic environment in the body? And when we can do that the way that we go about things change, suddenly you're not gonna use this thing to kill the cancer.
Jason (22m 31s):
You're gonna use other things to change the environment so the cancer can't survive in the first place. Those are the things that I talk about on tour. And I always go and do these events. Like this upcoming one, I think it's about 20 or 25 events over a period of two months around all of the United States. Essentially it's like half of the states in the US I did the east coast, already did the west coast. Now I'm doing all the middle states and I go visit these centers, host about two hour events in each, once. Whoever wants to come is more than welcome. And I share and I answer a bunch of questions.
Brian (23m 3s):
That sounds fun.
Jason (23m 4s):
Cool. Cool.
Brian (23m 6s):
I like to ask this question for most my guests. What's one thing that you've changed your mind on over the last 10, 15 years
Jason (23m 13s):
That Western Metis? Oh, well, let me preface. I was brought up in a very alternative household because my father used to be super normal. Like, like everybody else, you know, he ate KFC and all that stuff. He got really sick, the doctors told him he wouldn't be able to walk anymore. And then he went to the other side and he said, okay, let me start learning and educating myself and all that. And the other side is great, but there are certain times where you go too much to the other side of the extreme and then you can have problems as well. So because I grew up in an alternative household, one would call us pretty extreme in the way that we do things or don't do things.
Jason (23m 53s):
And one thing that I would say I changed my mind on is Western medicine has its place. It's a brilliant, brilliant thing with the inventions and the new advancements that they come, that they've come out with. But at the same time, we need to have a balance. So if I need to, I will use antibiotics. If I have an infection in my mouth, I will take antibiotics because I don't wanna risk that going to the brain and killing me. So I know that there's a negative side to the antibiotics, but there's a bigger negative side to the potential risk of what that would do if that infection spread. So time and place for everything, I'm learning a much better balance in the world right now in my life right now. And western medicine is great.
Jason (24m 34s):
Just remember it's a last resort, not a first resort.
Brian (24m 38s):
Yeah. And we always like to talk about like routines. I'm a big routine guy. Morning, evening. What, what are your, what are your routines around the day? And and to set yourself up for like a great day?
Jason (24m 51s):
Okay, so I do my best.
Brian (24m 53s):
Do my best. What's that? You do your best. Okay.
Jason (24m 54s):
Yeah. To, to stick to the following routine. I sometimes I'm guilty, I don't do it because work, you know, right. Best of me sometimes. But usually what I would like to do is I used to wake up much earlier. Right Now I go in phases. Sometimes I'm gonna be waking up at 5 36, other times I'm waking up at 8, 8 30. Right now I'm in the phase of the 8, 8 30. I'm waking up. I don't look at the phone first. The first thing I do is I start thinking, what did I dream? And even if I don't remember my dream, if I just lay in bed for 10, 15 minutes, I start getting these previews of what happened. And I do that because a dream is not just this like thing that we don't understand.
Jason (25m 36s):
It's, it's your subconscious. And your subconscious knows a lot more than your conscious mind. So if we can tap into the subconscious more, we can learn things about ourselves and understand what we're going through And what to do throughout the day and the week and the year in order to get to a better place. So first 10 to 15 minutes, what did I dream? And if I remember certain things at this point, I would either take my journal, if my journal's not next to me, I would take my phone, go to my notes and start writing anything that I remembered from there. Wake up, go shower, no phone. No phone. Essentially for the first 30 to 45 minutes. If I succeed, that's usually what I try to do. 30 to 45 minutes of let me be a human, look at the phone just to make sure nobody died, everything's okay From there, I do my meditation.
Jason (26m 23s):
So my meditation is more so based on certain prayers. It's based on this understanding. And it's also a fact. It's how radios work. It's the law of resonance. What you're resonating with is what you're gonna experience. So we're all guilty of being worried and concerned and scared and fearful about certain things. And I catch myself doing that as well. But in the morning and at night, but specifically in the morning, I use that time to not just use some words and say, I'm good. Everything's okay. This won't happen, right? But focus and visualize the reality for a period of about 10 to 15 minutes of number one, before talking about life. How do I want this day to go one day at a time? 'cause that's a much easier task to take on.
Jason (27m 5s):
Sure. Than what do I want to happen the next year from now? That's a much bigger task. So I'm a believer that if you do things day by day, definitely plan in the future. But if you do things day by day, you're gonna get a whole lot further than if you say, you know, I wanna lose a hundred pounds. As opposed to saying I wanna lose two pounds this week. That's much more. So I take that mentality and I use it throughout my day, specifically in the morning when I do my form of presence, meditation, breath work, and just visualization. And I'm telling you, Matt, it, it really changes things. It changes things because whether what I'm saying is true or not, when I believe it to be true, the probability of that thing happening becomes a whole lot higher because now I'm living in resonance with that thing.
Jason (27m 49s):
So it's not just a matter of saying it, that's not enough. You need to literally like be it, you need to be it. Your belief needs to be undoubted. And sometimes I succeed and sometimes it's too much for me 'cause I'm a human. But every morning that is part of what I do. I do my meditation, all of that is usually my first hour. I sit down, get to work. I'm usually a slave throughout the day in a very positive way because I'm doing good things. But I'm just here. Right? My, my focus is forward. There's no left, there's no right. Let's go forward. Sometimes I forget to eat. So I do have reminders. I then, my reminder, I need to remember to eat. I need to remember to drink because one of the things that I've done over the past few years is, and I'm still perfecting it, but I've intended to perfect the power of focus.
Jason (28m 38s):
When you focus on something you don't know how much you can get done. Forgetting a week, forgetting a day in one hour. I've done things in one hour that most people would take a day, a week, two weeks to do. And it's not because I'm brilliant, it's because I created a system in order to get me to the place that I want to get to. This thing is not evil, but it's very distracting. And if you have something that you want to write and this thing is on with the screen in front of you, it's not really gonna help you. Right? If you take this thing and flip it over, you have a system. Now, I don't know if somebody's about to call me. And I don't care if somebody's about to call me for the next hour. I'm sitting here, I'm getting the work done by nighttime, usually by six 7:00 PM I wanna shut everything off.
Jason (29m 24s):
Sometimes some people talk to me about work. I say, guys, I don't wanna talk about work right now. We'll talk tomorrow. Let me take this time to relax. And then what I do at night depends on what happened during the day. If I'm super stressed, I'll do a combination of something that takes effort, But it helps a lot, like breathing, meditation. And then I'll do the more human things. Like let me just put a movie on, relax. Let me watch a show. Let me, you know, just do something that causes zero effort. Just makes me happy right now. From there, I'll usually try to read, read a book, or read a piece of a book right before I go to sleep. No phone. And off we go into the dream realm and then it continues.
Brian (30m 2s):
Yeah. Yeah. I think nowadays you talk about focus, it's like I find it with myself. It very difficult. You, it's just like, especially if you have your phone around you. I have you talk about, this is actually a nice little, the safe sleeve. I don't know if you're familiar with Yeah, yeah. So I've, I've been using their phone and it's like, you know, it's a little briefcase ish, But it covers it up. It also blocks the, the radio frequency of it, of the, you know, the device. Yeah. Of the device. So,
Jason (30m 31s):
You know, you just reminded me of something. There's something that I do that I actually wanna share with everybody. 'cause it's important. On your phone you have this app called reminders. And I have that not only as an app, but I have it right up there as well. And it always show me how many things do I have on my to-do list. So I have this thing where if I have something on my to-do list before I go to sleep, I can't go to sleep. It's just, it's, it's part of my, my productive version of OCD. I can't, I can't, I need that to be clean. I need that to be done before I go to sleep. So on my to-do list right Now, I have six different things.
Jason (31m 13s):
Now I know that those six different things need to be done by the end of day today. And I know that not only it makes me go crazy if I don't check them off, but checking them off satisfies me. Yeah. So what does that do on a psychological perspective? Well, let's say there's something that you, you don't want to do. 'cause just inconvenience. I gotta go to the bank and I gotta do this wire. Let's just say that. Well, I don't want to go to the bank and do the wire. I wanna sit here and do what I'm doing here because it's, it's not convenient for me and it's more effort to go out of my way. But guess what, what I get the satisfaction from is checking off that I went to the bank and did the wire. So Now I just associated something that I don't want to do with, so with a reward, with something that I do want to do to basically hack my own mind into being excited to doing it.
Jason (32m 1s):
Because I'm not excited to go to the bank and do the wire. I'm excited to check that thing off my list. So that's an example of a system that that works for me. It may work for other people, other people may have something else, But it's a system that is satisfying to me. And I learned that from a story of somebody who built his Peloton bike to be programmed in a way where only when he finishes two miles per day, can he watch Netflix. Now, he loved watching Netflix, but he hated doing the two miles a day. He created a program where the Netflix won't work until he finished the two miles a day. And guess what? He did two miles a day every day on the Peloton bike because of the system that he created for himself.
Jason (32m 41s):
And suddenly the thing that he hated doing, he looked forward to doing because it brought him closer to the reward. So it's kind of like hacking yourself in a positive way for being more productive.
Brian (32m 51s):
Yeah, no, I love that. I find like I write things down, I'm better. Like, so like I, I have an old school calendar, so I'll like write the things that I wanna do the, the night before. So I have 'em already. But yeah, that, that's a good sort of self hack. It is,
Jason (33m 7s):
It works.
Brian (33m 8s):
Yeah. And you know, beyond that, what would you say, how do you use light to your advantage? Do you try to get outside or I know, you know, I know you have the light system, you said you have it in your house, you know, how can people sort of use light to their advantage? I know like for me, getting out morning walks are great, you know,
Jason (33m 25s):
A hundred
Brian (33m 25s):
Percent. Yeah,
Jason (33m 26s):
A hundred percent. I think we gotta understand what light is and the fact that you are literally made up of light, everything is energy, frequency and vibration. Your heart has an optimal frequency. It operates on factually, your liver has an optimal frequency. It operates on factually. Now if you ever saw those, like a lot of people call it woo woo, but I'll explain it scientifically. In Eastern medicine they refer to something called seven different energy centers or chakras. And you know, doctors are like, what the hell are you talking about? Well, all that is is a different language for like the green one is just your heart and your pulmonary system. It's your cardiovascular system and your lungs, your pulmonary system. The blue one is your thyroid, your throat, the yellow one is your digestive, digestive system and your stomach in general.
Jason (34m 12s):
So it's just using different terminologies to understand different things. But the reason why it's so important is because those are colors. Not because somebody wanted to get creative with, you know, drawing out or or painting a rainbow. It's because they understood that the optimal frequency of the heart is the wavelength that we perceive as green. So it's no wonder why green foods are very good for your heart. They also clear phlegm from your lungs. When you take green juices, forests are very good for that part of the body as well. But yellow foods are very good for your digestive system. So like lemon in your water, bananas, mango pineapples, it's good for your body, But it specifically targets your digestive system.
Jason (34m 55s):
Red foods, as we all know or may not know, help with inflammation. So that's your root chakra. It's just another word for your blood circulation, your blood flow, your your root, what makes you a material being so raspberries, cranberries, strawberries, cherries, pomegranates, all of those things are specifically target. They're anti-inflammatory. That's what they are. So it's not by chance that all of this happens, it's by understanding which colors or light is good for which parts of the body specifically. So beyond food, the sun is good for your entire being, But it will specifically target your reproductive system.
Jason (35m 36s):
That's why libido, your sexual drive increases when you go to sunnier places. Specifically it increases when you go on vacation to Hawaii and you live in New York, suddenly your libido is much stronger. Well it's because the energy, the light of the sun, although it's good for everything, is specifically targeting your second and your third energy center, which is your sacral And what they call your solar plexus. It's, it's your reproductive system and your digestive system. So it's all a matter of understanding light in a different way and then using it in a conscious way. So the sun is good for many, many things, but target specific things, the sky of that blue color is also used for specific things like your throat and your thyroid.
Jason (36m 23s):
Certain foods or green grass will help with certain things in your body. And when you take that and you kind of translate that into technology, well then that's where red light therapy comes from. It's anti-inflammatory because the wavelength that we call red helps with inflammation in the body. Blue light therapy, green light therapy. Right now it's red and blue. That's really, you know, what takes the scene. But all these different wavelengths have a different purpose. For me, I walk outside as much as I can. I use things like red light therapy, I use things like frequency mats, like PEMF mats as well. 'cause it's still light. It's just light that you can't see. Everything in this world is light.
Jason (37m 3s):
We need to understand that first and foremost. Now there's light within the spectrum that we can perceive and there's light outside of that spectrum, which is the majority of it all. So I use it in many different aspects of my life. But morning walks, walks in general. Sunset. Sunrise. If I ever wake up that early, it's amazing to be able to get that energy specifically from the sun.
Brian (37m 24s):
Yeah. And then maybe even trying to avoid some artificial light, especially in the evening. And we talk a lot about that. You know, sort of helping you set you up for a quality sleep.
Jason (37m 34s):
Big time. Yeah,
Brian (37m 35s):
Big time. I have those blue light blocking glasses I'll use towards the evening. Yeah,
Jason (37m 39s):
You need that man. Because we gotta counterbalance all the garbage that we live with because it makes our life more convenient. That's the life that we're living right now. We're living in, in something that's super convenient, But it, it's inconvenient for our health. So that's where you wanna use things like blue light glasses because if you're gonna use a computer or a phone and that's what it's doing, you gotta counter that effect as well.
Brian (38m 1s):
Yeah. Well I know we're ke we're getting up on time here. I'll ask this question. What, what's one thing you, what's one tip you give someone if you know, maybe they're looking to get their health in order and they're trying to maybe get their body and even their mind back to what it once was, you know, 5, 10, 15 years ago. What like first step or tip would you give that individual?
Jason (38m 18s):
I'm gonna give something that if you've ever asked your guest before, probably didn't give this answer, but I think it's very important. The first thing that I do and that I tell everybody to do is before talking about medicine, what to do and physically and all that, ask yourself not why is this happening to me, but why is this happening for me? Meaning what is the lesson in the hardship that's coming my way right now with my health? If you can learn the lesson, the way forward will be very clear on what to do next, then you take the physical approach. But I come from the camp and I would call it a fact, but some people may not agree with me. Every single physical expression in this world has an energetic root.
Jason (39m 1s):
It's just how it starts. A lot of people that are sick, if you go back to their childhood, have a lot of traumas that they never dealt with. They have trapped energies in their body that are getting stuck. That causes things like breast cancer, brain cancer, you know, heart disease, diabetes, so on and so forth. Now, yes, on the surface we're gonna say no, well you know, this person's overweight because they eat a lot. Okay, well then why do they eat a lot? Because of an emotional issue that's going on. It all stems from an emotional root, not a physical route. When we can understand that and start asking ourselves where is this rooted from? What is it trying to teach me? Number one, your mindset will change. Your perspective will change, and the way forward of what to do next will be much, much clearer.
Jason (39m 45s):
But all in all, if you can learn the lesson that you were trying to teach yourself from a different perspective, nothing's here to hurt you. Everything's here to help you. The question is, how is it here to help me? How is the cancer trying to show me something? What is it trying to bring up for me that I was not looking at, that I was neglecting for years and years and years? And that's the blessing and the disease. It's trying to show you something. Now you have a choice, you wanna listen, you don't wanna listen, but you have to know the proper question to ask if you wanna listen to the answer. And that's the question that I would say
Brian (40m 18s):
You're definitely the first guest to, to come with that and, and yeah, I, I appreciate that. Thanks for sharing. Yeah. Well Jason, yeah, I'm glad I can get you on the podcast. Thank you.
